Ichiei Taguma田熊一衛

Born in 1981 in Fukuoka Prefecture, Ichiei Taguma began working at traditional French restaurants in Tokyo at the age of 22.
After establishing a track record in the Japanese capital, he moved to France in 2009 and spent 10 years honing his skills at three-starred establishments.
Taguma returned to Japan in 2018 and made a name for himself with the success of restaurant Libre in Tokyo.
In 2021, he opened L’eclaireur, a fine-dining restaurant in Daikanyama where he uses wood-fired cooking techniques to create innovative French cuisine.
